WANTED: Responsible Adults

Have you ever dreamed of an all expenses paid vacation to the beautiful Colorado Plateau and learn about Hopi, Navajo, and teenage cultures? Then the Front Range UU Ninth Grade Trip is for you. The Steering Committee takes applications for responsible adults May 1st through September 1. The application should include either the RA Agreement referenced below or a letter from you stating why you are answering the call and listing your experience with youth; a letter of recommendation from your minister, DRE, or MRE; A signed copy of the Background Check Form; and permission from your tripper if you have one coming on the trip.

This page contains links to the agreement form to become an RA for the UU 9th Grade Trip, and information concerning what the commitment to be an RA involves. RA's are expected to commit to the same rules and behaviors that we expect from the "trippers." These are listed in the trip Covenant. The time commitment is outlined in the RA Schedule. (The RA Schedule is NOT the same as the schedule published for the trippers.) The other expectations are listed in the RA Expectations.

The application materials may be mailed to Mitch Pingel; 275 Main St; Broomfield CO 80020, faxed to 303-469-2454 or emailed to mitch@uu9gt.org.
